Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit

Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit is available if you are on low income, unable to work, bringing up children, are retired, have a disability or elderly and need help to pay your rent or council tax.

The Association will be pleased to help you find out whether you are entitled alternatively you can go to www.entitledto.co.uk which has an online benefits checker to work out what you could claim.

If you think you are entitled you must notify the housing benefit department at your local authority immediately as your claim can not generally be back dated unless you have a good reason. You will need to fill in a claim form. The staff at Lincolnshire Rural Housing will be pleased to help you complete the form.
